'Tis the season for Halloween Tricks and Treats, right?
Mom and I got an unexpected treat last night, just after 10:00, when the phone rang.
It was Sheeby calling from the airport. The one in Seoul, not the one in Salt Lake, though he briefly tried to make us think that. Mom talked to him for a short time while I listened to her side of the conversation.
He had gotten to the airport in plenty of time to take care of pre-flight details, like customs and such. Everything went so smoothly and easy that he still had a couple of hours before his flight left.
Apparently, some "random" person walked by, handed him a phone card and suggested he call home. Assuming that's just how it happened, it seems obvious to me that it was someone familiar with LDS missionaries and who liked to do this little kindness for them.
Anyway, he said his companion at the moment, and for the flight home (I assume) is a SISTER missionary who is also going home. I didn't know that was legal. ;-)
We told him about the cold weather we just got and he said that in that case he'll probably pull out a sweater.
Good Times!
