Deal or No Deal

Last night we watched (part of) the latest Deal or No Deal show. (We missed the middle of the show to eat dinner, but saw the beginning and the end.)

The contestant was Jessica Robinson from Utah. It was interesting to see how she reacted and the language she used in response to the ups and downs of the show.

Even when she became the first person to ever win the $1,000,000 prize, it was SO refreshing to hear her say nothing stronger than "Oh, my gosh." I believe she did say "Oh, my goodness." a time or two and I heard "Darn", too.

One interesting part of the show was that she made her husband wait until she was on the show to tell him the gender of their unborn child. They hid the answer in one of the 26 cases. It turned out that it was in the 2nd case she picked. BTW: it said "It's a boy."

When it got down to the final two cases ($200,000 or $1,000,000) the offer was like $594,000. She didn't even really hesitate too long before saying "No Deal". A GUARANTEED offer like that would certainly make ME think about it.

Anyway, Congratulations Jessica!

Oh my goodness! That's great. I wonder if she will pay her tithing on that.
