I watched and listened last night as Sarah Palin spoke at the Republican National Convention. She introduced herself and her family, outlined her life at home and in government office and proceeded to laud the accomplishments of Senator McCain and deride the lack of leadership experience of Senator Obama.
I liked her poise, confidence, and presence at the podium last night as she spoke to the delegates in the house and to the people of the nation. She was charming and articulate. She presented her message well and hit the nail on the head with her comments about the lack of real governing experience in the Democratic ticket.
I liked her joke about the difference between a hockey mom and a pitbull (lipstick). I liked a lot of her other barbs at the opposition. I particularly liked the one toward the end when she said that some people try to use "change" to further their career while others, like John McCain, want to use their career to promote change.
One other impression I had was that perhaps she and McCain ought to switch places on the ticket.
This morning, it occured to me that Hillary is probably shaking in her boots about now. Sarah Palin is now closer to being in the White House than she is. If McCain/Palin are elected this November, Sarah Palin might very well have a better chance of becoming President than Hillary will. And, personally, I like Sarah Palin a heck of a lot more than Hillary.
So, what do you think?

Our thoughts exactly.
Ditto again.
Seriously, while I was watching her speak, I wished she and McCain would switch places! I LOVED her!
