First, here's my favorite Halloween joke:
What do you get when you delight a frankfurter by eating only it's insides?
(A Happy Hollow Weinie, of course.)
Ok, you can get up off the floor and compose yourself now. It wasn't all THAT funny. But seriously, ...
Last night, Grandma and I, a couple of my kids and their kids, my mom, and my siblings and their families all got together for a second annual Halloween/Birthday party. We all got together for a pot-luck dinner and an evening of trick-or-treating, conversations, and kid-chasing.
October 30th is my mother's birthday, the 31st is Halloween, and November 1st is LeAnn's birthday. I'm pretty sure there is one or two of my grand-neices or nephews with a birthday around this time, too. After the meal winds down, the rest of the costumes go on and the kids get to go from family to family trick-or-treating for more candy.
This year there was an added treat. My sister finally got a bunch of my Dad's old 8mm movies transferred to DVD as a birthday gift for Mom. One of my nephews had a projector and displayed it on the wall for us all to watch and enjoy. It's been multiple decades since I've seen any of those old movies. It was a nice trip down memory lane.

That video was pretty amazing, I really enjoyed it. It was crazy to see my own father as a little boy, and see who he looked like most. Good times!!
Happy Hollow Weinie! That's hilarious.
That movie was awesome. You were such a cute little kid! I loved seeing you with your archery sets, BB gun, and Red Flyer sled. And seeing Grandma pregnant was priceless.
Good joke. hehe.
Your evening sounds wonderful and fun. Nice tradition.
Happy Halloween.
Happy Birthday tomorrow LeeAnn.
